Event Details

Bluebird Skies, Incredible Snow and a Chance to Win a 25/26 Season Pass?!

Shred the powder at Mt. Ashland Ski Area from Monday, March 24th – Sunday, March 30th (Mt. Ashland is closed 3/25 and 3/26 per our normal operations) for our Spring Break Take 5 Challenge!

WE’VE UPDATED OUR CHALLENGES TO MAKE THEM MORE ATTAINABLE!

The Take 5 Challenge:

Each day of Spring Break, one of our 5 Chairlifts will be highlighted! Ride the Chairlift of the Day AND dress up in that chairlift’s Theme of the Day to receive a check mark on your Take 5 Passport at the bottom of the Chairlift of the Day. Each Day you ride the Chairlift of the Day dressed to theme will give you 1 entry into our raffle. That’s 5 days of themes and 5 days opportunities for raffle entries! After visiting the Chairlift of the Day for as many days as you can – dressed to theme – return your passport with your name and phone number to the front of the Mt. Ashland Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge to be entered into a raffle for a 2025/26 Season Pass! The deadline to drop off your passport to the front of the Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge is Sunday, March 30th at 3:45pm!

The Take 5 Theme Challenge:

Are you a beginner or novice and don’t feel quite ready to take on all 5 chairlifts just yet? We encourage all of our guests to participate in the Take 5 Theme Challenge for a chance to win an exciting spring gift basket full of goodies that will gear you up for the warmer weather! This challenge requires you to ride the First Act Learning Carpet and be dressed in the Take 5 Challenge day’s theme as many days of the five days of Spring Break as you can.  Get your passport checked every day at the Learning Center’s Learning Carpet by one of Mt. Ashland’s Ski and Ride School instructors. Return your passport with your name and phone number to the front of the Mt. Ashland Karen & Sid DeBoer Lodge by Sunday, March 30th at 3:45pm to be entered into the raffle!

Stop by the front of the Karen and Sid DeBoer Lodge any day between March 24th and March 30th before 3:45pm (closed March 25th – 26th) to pick up your Passport. You can only participate in one competition – the Take 5 Challenge or the Take 5 Theme Challenge.

**Replacements for lost passports will not be issued.

Themes will be posted to social media on the day of and are listed below:

Day 1, Monday, March 24th: Sonnet Chairlift – 80’s day
Celebrate the construction of Sonnet Chairlift in 1987 by dressing in your boldest and brightest retro 80s gear!

Day 2, Thursday, March 27th: Lithia Chairlift – Après Ski R&R
Lithia Spring Water is a part of Ashland’s History, Community and Culture. Get ready to soak in that Mineral Water with a take on a classic Après tradition with a little hot tub or sauna session. Wear your robes, spa towels, maybe a pool floatie or other spa day accessories (hot tub and sauna not included).

Day 3, Friday, March 28th: Comer Chairlift – Mt. Ashland Day
Show us your pride for our local mountain playground by bringing your buffs, tees, sweatshirts or caps that showcase Mt. Ashland’s new or more retro logos!

Day 4, Saturday, March 29th: Windsor Chairlift – Space/Sci-fi Fantasy
We like to call Windsor chairlift our “portal” to Mt. Ashland, opening up terrain to the entire mountain for our skiers and riders.  Let’s see some aliens, time travelers, your intergalactic attire…even wizards use portals – we’re shredding into another dimension! And be sure to check out Mt. Ashland’s annual Dummy Downhill!

Day 5, Sunday, March 30th: Ariel Chairlift – “Big Red”

Honor Mt. Ashland’s beloved lift by dressing in red!
