MT. ASHLAND SKI AREA
From atop the Siskiyou Crest, Mt. Ashland provides terrain for skiers and riders of every ability. Founded in 1964 and operated by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Mt. Ashland is Southern Oregon’s hub for outdoor recreation. With a peak elevation of 7,533′ and over 200 acres of skiable terrain, find your happy place amongst our steeper terrain in The Bowl, one of dozens of groomed runs, in one of our tree glades or at the Learning Center.
Located just eight miles from I-5 near the Oregon-California border, Mt. Ashland features a full rental shop (with ski and snowboard rentals and tuning), several dining options, the T-Bar Lounge, a retail shop, and ski school.

24/5 Winter Season Opening Day!
🏔️Friday, December 6th🏔️
Day one will be a 24/25 Season Passholder Appreciation Day followed by the mountain opening up to all guests on December 7th!
We can’t wait to welcome you all to Mt. Ashland in just 8 days!
In the meantime, for those of you that want to take some pre-season turns, we are opening up Uphill Access 11/28 - 12/1!

Over the weekend all of our employees have been participating in Employee Orientation! Our lodge crews have been training inside to prepare to welcome you with gemütlichkeit spirit while our outdoor crews have been grooming, doing Ski Patrol trainings, building terrain parks, and so much more.
Post-storms, our mountain operations crews have been working tirelessly throughout the week and weekend to make sure our lifts and the ski area are ready. It’s tough work with snow levels in November being the highest they’ve been since the 90s - it’s a good thing our powerhouse team is more than up for the task! 💪🏼
You’re excited, we’re excited. It won’t be long now 😍 We’re working to get you an update as soon as we can! 🏔️
