Announcing 2 Additional Bonus Weekends for the 24/25 Season!

The Mt. Ashland Ski Area Team is pleased to announce an extension of its winter season with two bonus weekends in April, providing our guests with additional opportunities to enjoy the Mountain! Originally scheduled to close on April 13, the Mountain will now remain open for four extra days—April 19-20 and April 26-27—allowing our visitors to take advantage of excellent spring conditions and an exceptional snow season.

We’ve had an incredible season of snowfall totaling a whopping 296” and with still 20 days left of operations, we are on track to set attendance records for the season! With the latest storm bringing in 30” of snowfall in 4 days and over 10 feet of snow at the base, the staff are confident that the Mountain will continue to have considerable snow coverage through the end of April.  After an early opening on December 6th, and having already been open for skiing and snowboarding for  71 days, the addition of 2 bonus weekends will mark the second longest operational season in thirty years!  Now let’s keep that momentum going by celebrating a historic season and giving you all more opportunities to enjoy the spring skiing and snowboarding that Mt. Ashland is famous for!

During both bonus weekends, the Mountain will operate at a limited capacity, with the Comer, Windsor, and Ariel chairlifts running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at a discounted rate. The Sonnet and Lithia chairlifts, along with the First Act Learning Carpet, will have their final rides of the season on April 13. Additionally, the Ski and Ride School will conclude its Group Lesson offerings that same weekend. However, guests can still book Private Lessons online in advance for both bonus weekends.

And what’s spring without a little aprés fun? Keep an eye on our events calendar at mtashland.com in addition to our Facebook and Instagram accounts where we will be announcing additional events to add to the April line up! And our guests will want to stick around this spring because we have exciting announcement planned for the month of April. We encourage all of our Season Passholders and Day Lift Ticket Holders to make sure to work some sunshine turns and fresh alpine air into their spring plans because it’s an update you won’t want to miss! Stay tuned…
