Art Beyond 2021
From now through July 18, Mt. Ashland features artworks as part of the Schneider Museum of Art’s Art Beyond exhibit. Featuring artists’ works at Lithia Park, ScienceWorks, Vesper Meadows, and Willow-Witt Ranch, more than 20 artists have contributed to this project.
Artists with installations at Mt. Ashland include Ben Buswell, Anja Dubois, Alyse Emdur & Michael Parker, Robby Herbst, Ryan Kitson, and Isabella Thorndike Church.
On June 11-13, 1-3pm seven plein air artists will be on-site, creating entire works of art outdoors. Painters will include Julian Bell, Sarah F. Burns, Lupe Galvan, David Gordon, Gabriel Liston, Phyllis Trowbridge, and Deb Van Poolen.
The artists have placed their works on the Mt. Ashland Nature Trail. To visit, park your vehicle in the main parking lot at Mt. Ashland and walk towards the ski lodge and the Sonnet lift. You should see signs directing you towards the trail on the right-hand side of the slope. The trail is about one mile long.
